Karlo Estates Winery Prince Edward County

This winery was originally owned by the Stevenson family who settled in the County in the early 1800's. Until it now served as a traditional farm with a turn of the century post and beam barn at its center. Richard Karlo converted this historic site into Karlo Estates' tasting room. In spring 2006 Karlo Estates undertook its first planting of grapes where Pinot Noir and Frontenac were used for the for the reds; and Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chardonnay Musque for the whites.

Lift Haus Winery Prince Edward County

The Evans family densely planted their property with pinot gris, chardonnay and pinot noir in 2002, they changed the name of the winery to Lift Haus from Ridgeview Estates to commemorate the amount of lifting required in establishing a vineyard and winery.
